Bead Terminology

Some of my customers have been asking about the meaning of "AB", Duracoat & Galvanized.  What do all of these fancy terms mean regarding Miyuki Delica beads? The short...they're different finishes or coatings on the beads.  The long...AB= Aurora Borealis effect (think Northern lights--wow!!), Duracoated beads have a longer lasting, more "durable" finish, to retain the colour & finish, Galvanized is a silver plating on the surface of the beads to retain the finish especially in metallic beads.

All bracelets should NOT be worn in water or get wet to keep the leather supple and the beautiful color & finishes on those pretty beads!
